Sunday Mix Tape #2

Calvin Harris Ft. Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love
Great song to get you pumped in the gym as you get that bikini body going...also Calvin Harris is looking fine so that can be motivation as well.

David Guetta ft. Sia (Tyler Ward & The Piano Guys cover) - Titanium / Pavane
I love The Piano Guys, they are amazing! Please go on Youtube and check out there channel, this is just one of many amazing covers.

Bastille - Locked Out of Heaven (Mash-up) - The BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
Yes I know I have blogged this before but I am literally in love with this song. I may marry it and have little amazing sounding babies with it (is that werid?)

Good Charlotte - Keep Your Hands Off My Girl
Oldie alert, who didn't love Good Charlotte though?!

MS MR - Hurricane
This is my band of the moment, they are unreal. I will do a full blog post on them soon but till then check this song out; its fabulous song with a fabulous video (it is a bit odd but still fabulous)

Friday Favourites

FRIDAY FRIDAY GOT TO GET DOWN ON FRIDAY! Oh my god I am so happy it’s the weekend and I do love Fridays I do except from the fact I have 3 solid hours of maths in the morning…it’s a horrible start. So to deal with this on my lunch break I had a little sneak down to Superdrug and bought myself some treats which I would like to share with you!

(Top to bottom)
♥Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara: £6.99 (got free in offer, read below)
♥Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial: £5.99
♥Rimmel London Salon Pro Nail Colour in Punk Rock: £4.29
♥MUA Bronzer Shade 1: £1.00
♥Midget Gems Tesco’s Own Brand: £0.34

So much Rimmel I know! Well when I got there (they also have this deal on in Boots) I was taken in by Rimmel’s latest production that is “spend £10 or more on Rimmel products and get Scandaleyes mascara free!” WOW! As Scandaleyes is my favourite mascara at the moment I just could not resist it and ended up with Apocalips which I have heard good things about and some Salon Pro in Punk Rock. I have wanted some new lip colour for a while and since my skills with lipstick are limited I though the Apocalips was a good way to go as its meant to have the colour of a lipstick but in lip-gloss form if that makes sense. The nail colour really grabbed me as well; I know its spring/summer and everyone is going for pastel colours but I really wanted a darker colour to wear for nights out. When I was younger I used to always go for black but I am just too pale for that so this dark blue, grey nearly black colour was a great choice for me. These are both products I have never used before so I will report back on what I find. I also bought the MUA bronzer in shade 1 which I have reviewed before and I love it. It’s cheap and cheerful and for a girl who doesn’t wear bronzer a lot it’s perfect. I have also used the Scandaleyes for a while now and I really like it as I really like having full on eyelashes with lots of volume so it’s perfect for me.  And the midget gems…well I have had a tough day and I had to go straight to work after 6th form so they were necessary (and well tasty!)
BEST COMFY CLOTHES EVER!
Now I am home, cosy and about to catch up this week’s New Girl so the only thing I could put on is my Fat Face pj bottoms and my Monsoon slippers. Both of which I got at Christmas and love endless amount! Seriously Fat Face make the best pj bottoms ever, in the whole entire world…go buy some now! Also my slippers are beaut, especially after a long day or a run they are the best things to put on your feet. Well I hope you have had a brilliant productive week and lots of love to all of you, Hann xx

Hair Care Haul: Bumble and Bumble Buzz

For a long, long time I have been hearing all this buzz about Bumble and Bumble hair products so when pay day came around I thought I would treat myself and have a splurge. My sister recommended the Surf Spray herself and the other products I bought just because the cleverly worded description lured me in. I bought all of these products off the Bumble and Bumble website except from the hair brush which is from one of their older ranges and I got it off eBay for a lovely price.

♥Bb. Deeep Hair Mask: £21.50
♥Bb. Texture Hair(un)Dressing Crème: £21.50
♥Bumble South Surf Spray: £20.50

I bought these three products of the Bumble and Bumble website and I was really happy with the delivery; it was free for £25 and I got a few lovely little samples (I don’t have them for pictures as I sent them to my sister at university for a little treat). The only one though I have used so far for review though is the Deeep Hair Mask, it says on the bottle that its for the chemically dependent or seriously parched (colour junkies, styling abusers or sun worshippers): a protein masque to revive lifeless locks”. That is how to sum me up in one little sentence and especially that summers coming and hopefully some sun I need something to save my hair. I used this last night and even after the first use I am in love with it! My hair feels softer and just looks healthier but the only thing I think sucks is that to get it to work fully is that you have to leave it on for 20 minutes. A bit long for somebody who doesn’t have a lot of free time but I will definitely be using again when I feel like giving myself a bit longer for pampering and me time. I haven’t used the Texture Crème or Surf Spray yet but I am looking forward to do so as I have heard so many good things about them and when I do I will tell you guys how it goes.
♥The Round Classic Hairbrush: £14.00 eBay

I then went and had a bit of a splurge and also bought the classic round hair brush as I have naturally poker straight hair and I hate it. So I decided to by myself a round brush so when I dry my hair I can give it a little lift (also the packet is so cute). These brushes are made of boar hair, which sounds strange I know but apparently they are really good for your hair and don’t break as much as plastic bristles do. And at only £14.00 I thought I should go for it. I will review it after I have a few goes with it and I will report back on if Boar hairs are really as good as their reputation.
I find Bumble and Bumble products are quite pricey but they have such good reviews and my hair is so long and thick I need to give it a little more TLC  so I don’t mind paying a little more (fingers crossed the reviews are correct!)

What’s your favourite hair brand? Do you have a review on Bumble and Bumble? If so please tell me. Happy Wednesday kittens, love Hann xxx
